In this role you will be responsible for developing strategy, improving the time to pay core model, designing end-to-end processes and setting targets for cost, speed, and quality to measure progress. You and your team  will also investigate T2P performance issues and refine KPIs, simplify Sanofi’s payroll and time management technology landscape and improve data governance by learning from industry best practices. This position also manages vendor relationships, ensures payroll compliance and helps local teams resolve payroll issues. 

 
Together with a small team, you will also oversee global payroll vendors, implement and monitor KPIs and drive process improvement Identify and implement simplification and digitization opportunities and develop business cases for consolidation of payroll partners. Your team is also responsible for the implementation of strategic payroll projects on time and budget. 

 

Main responsibilities

Use personal influence and expertise to further develop core model and strategic roadmap for Time to Pay

Design end-to-end process and set cost, speed and quality targets

Determine productivity targets and delivery model

Constructively balance local requirements from country stakeholders with the benefits of standardization

Deep dive with regional teams into defect root causes in case of "red KPI performance", define action plans and refine KPIs and get consistency on how we measure them

Simplify Sanofi's payroll and time management technologies and interface landscape

Connect proactively with other companies and learn from best practices - regularly attend conferences and best practice forums

Define vendor management strategy and continue to centralize related activities

Be responsible for payroll operation compliance with SOX and internal control requirements:

Deliver and coordinate support documentation to ensure that day-to-day payroll operations are compliant with global Internal Control around the globe

Coach local teams to resolution of critical payroll issues and identify root causes and implement mitigation plans to prevent re-occurrence in other countries

Own the relationship with global preferred payroll vendor and lead decision making process for further consolidation opportunities

Implement and constantly review and benchmark KPIs,

Drive Digitization and Continuous Improvement:

Scope and drive simplification and standardization opportunities

Identify digitization opportunities to drive effectiveness and efficiency

Develop business cases for payroll partner consolidation opportunity

 

About you

Proven leadership, capacity to manage a team, coordinate several strategic activities and diverse stakeholders

Expertise in program management in multicultural teams and global projects. Analytical thinking, technology savvy

Ability to network and communicate across diverse functions, and to work in a matrix organization

Critical & strategic thinking – ability to challenge the status quo.

Demonstrated experience in selecting and managing payroll partners

Good understanding of benchmarking and knowledge of best in class T2P delivery models

Experience with AI/automation/data visualization tools

Oral and written fluence in English, French represents an asset
