Role description:

Our Enabling Functions span HR, Legal, IT and beyond. In every role you’ll play a major part in driving the growth of our business by bringing your expertise, strategic vision, commercial focus and operational excellence. 

Role accountabilities:

As a member of the Local People Service team, the People Services Capability Specialist will establish trusted relationships with employees & line managers and provide training support for Global and local technical training programs. He will also collaborate with the business partners community and broader people services teams to support the total employee experience within a geographic area. The role will work closely with the People Services Manager to support an inclusive high performing organization, in line with the strategic people and culture direction.

In more detail, the People Services Capability Specialist will:

•    Proactively ensure compliance with Arcadis Policy and relevant Employment Legislation. 
•    Coordinate technical training schedules, timetables, and training details. Prompt coordination with trainers, participants, business partners and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth training sessions.
•    Coordinate with new hires, SMEs, TA, and Facilities team in the preparation for the new hire induction, including sending of calendar invites.
•    Conduct facilitation of new hire inductions for GEC/GSSC and API.
•    Conduct facilitation of GSSC Overview session.
•    Conduct facilitation of the Filipino Culture Orientation sessions to all Arcadians outside the country with work interactions and collaborations to local Arcadians in the Philippines. eg. CCLMs, Foreign Counterparts and Global Teammates. Handle end to end coordination including post-session feedback.
•    Manage the pre and post training evaluation, gather and analyze ratings and feedback. 
•    Monitor and track Trainings outside LXP.
•    Monitor technical training expense and participate in budget discussions with Finance.
•    Monitor technical training attendance.
•    Provide support to People Team and People Business Partner by providing monthly technical training report. 
•    Assist in managing People Services communications eg. preparation of People functions draft announcements.  
•    Assist employees in coordinating with Procurement for training vendor accreditation.
•    Support country specific initiatives and projects.

General


•    Responsible for delivering proactive, timely, and high-quality service.
•    The role holder will be expected to work across different GBAs where required.
•    The People Services Capability Specialist will work collaboratively within the People Operating model to support the wider business.
•    Play a key role in the local People Services network and take an active role on group wide People projects as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:


The candidate should have an academic degree (preferably in human resources) and a minimum of 5 years of progressive (Learning & Development) experience. They should have broad experience and understand the complexity of training and coordination.

Further the candidate should have experiences with diverse and complex matrix businesses in and familiarity working within a People Shared Services & Centers of Excellence model

•    Proven experience in coordinating multifaceted training programs.
•    Excellent communication skills, capable of facilitating induction and orientation sessions and has the ability to build solid working relationships.
•    Demonstrates integrity in all business interactions and honors personal commitments.
•    Ability to provide both verbal and written information clearly, succinctly, and persuasively, as well as ability to influence others.
•    Strong organization skills are important, as well as strong attention to detail, an ability to multitask and see work through to full implementation.
•    Ability to build key relationships and reach agreements and consensus despite differing goals and priorities.
•    Demonstrates a pro-active approach.
•    Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
•    Ability to use research methods effectively, including data collection, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
•    Experience in people data systems and processes.
