American Vision Partners (AVP) is looking for a high energy People Services Coordinator who loves people and has a passion for supporting the growth and success of the business and our people. The People Services Coordinator will support multiple groups within the People Services department. These groups include, though are not limited to, Recruiting, Onboarding, Events, People Relations, and HRIS. These tasks may be administrative or more independent in task or project work.
ResponsibilitiesThe following include some of the responsibilities of this role, with other duties as assigned.
Recruiting:
Manage certain tasks in the recruiting inboxManage employee referral bonus program tracking and paymentsOnboarding:
Launch New Hire Onboarding activities and tasks, including background checks, drug screens, I-9’sTrack onboarding activities and tasks through completionCommunicate with new hires and hiring managers regarding onboarding activities and tasksUpload headshots and new hire documentationComplete I-9 verifications and re-verificationsAssist with virtual new hire orientation, which includes serving as the back-up facilitatorOrganize and ship new hire swagCreate and distribute new hire badgesEvents:
Assist with setting up for and staffing various company eventsPeople Relations:
Track and process continuing education requests and reimbursementsAssist with People Services email inboxManage and order recognition awardsAssist with filling out various forms, ranging from unemployment documentation to other records requestsHRIS:
Reset user passwords for UltiPro/UKGAssist with off-boarding activitiesCreate, format, and upload content on UltiPro/UKG home page Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field highly preferredExpert in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF, including creating fillable forms and presentationsMinimum of 1 years as an Administrative Assistant or Coordinator or similar job experience requiredProven track record of being highly organized, task focused, and detail-orientedStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent with time managementPhenomenal attitude and heart for people Benefits & PerksYour health, happiness and your future matters!
