Job Description:

We're growing our North America People team and looking for a Human Resources Specialist with 1-2 years HR generalist experience who is energized by delivering exceptional people services to colleagues and managers, and is eager to contribute to this global transformation.
The Role:
As a People Services Specialist, you'll join a team of four who are the first point of contact for all colleagues in North America (~2,600) - handling a wide range of HR/People-related inquiries and full employee lifecycle transactions from basic to medium complexity. Your primary focus will be resolving Tier 1 inquiries through ServiceNow tickets and live web chat, by managing them directly from A to Z and escalating more complex inquiries to the appropriate Tier 2 team specialties (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation/Rewards, Employee Relations, etc.) You can anticipate to process an average of 25-35 tickets per day. You'll play a crucial role in our team's journey toward becoming a global, expert-led People (HR) shared services center and engaging in special projects to support this transformation.

You'll join an immediate team of four collaborative colleagues and be a part of large global People team within a HR shared services environment. Location Requirement:
Hybrid - 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) of in-office collaboration from our Lawrenceville office (1715 N Brown Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30043)
Minimum Qualifications – Required
• 1-2 years experience as a Human Resources Generalist within a large corporate environment
• You have a solid understanding of U.S. employment law and HR compliance (ideally an HR certification or degree).
• You've worked within a ticketing systems for HR inquiries (ServiceNow or similar)
• You’ve utilized an HRIS for case management document and managing the full employee lifecycle within the system.
• You’re proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent planning and organizing skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively.
• You're known for your strong communication skills (both verbally and written), and ability to understand complex concepts.
• You’re empathetic and an active listener, with a focus on building trust and delivering exceptional customer service.
• You are solutions-oriented and resourceful, ready to tackle challenges in a complex and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to and process colleague and manager inquiries on basic to medium complexity People transactions, including personnel changes (new hires, transfers, promotions, salary increases, payroll changes, status changes, address changes, terminations, benefits, etc.), using agreed-upon knowledge articles and processes.
• Guide colleagues and line managers on inquiries, directing them to relevant policies, and tip-sheets, or escalate to appropriate Tier 2 specialists as needed.
• Accurately document colleague requests in the case management system, track resolutions, and continuously improve processes to enhance service levels.
• Handle and administer group benefit plans (medical, dental, vision), compliance with PTO, tuition approvals and reimbursements, and other related People administrative data.
• Collaborate with people colleagues to ensure accurate processing of policies, procedures, and programs, and partner with them to resolve issues requiring additional information.
• Provide administrative support for various People Services transactions, such as payroll data collection, colleague relations, absence management, exits, resourcing, offer letters, payroll letters, and employee references.
• Work with Team Leaders to create and update knowledge articles and processes, providing feedback on observed patterns or transactional inefficiencies.
• Maintain compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards, ensuring all People-related information is handled per policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
