Position Summary

The People Systems Manager is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The People Systems Manager leads a team supporting internal end users of the various HR-related systems, including HRIS, LMS, and related systems. S/he supports end users by creating, leading, and maintaining system training to give all internal customers a consistent and user-friendly experience.


Position Specific Responsibilities

Oversees the Execution and support of configurations, transactions, and updates within the HR systems to support the business.Collaborates directly with internal customers to research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within HR systems promptly.Identifies areas of improvement within HR systems and partners with stakeholders to develop streamlined processes to maximize system efficiency.Provides analysis and interpretation of report data as required, and identifies business requirements for new analytics solutions.Assesses system or business issues and utilizes critical-thinking skills to present potential solutions.Leads the team in optimizing systems performance.Evaluates new features/functions for rollout to end-users and recommends solutions/alternatives to mitigate business risk relative to these changes.Leads system-related projects.Benchmarks externally as needed to find solutions and suggestions, stays apprised of new features, and presents system improvement ideas.Oversees compliance audits as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with HR knowledge preferred.Minimum of five (5) years of practical experience required.HRIS and/or LMS experience required.


Skills

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications.Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy.


Physical Demands and Work Environment: The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
