Job Description

 

At Danfoss, for our Electric Heating (EH) business, we are looking for a strategic People and Talent Manager who demonstrates a practical, hands-on approach to operations within our EH business.

You will join a dynamic, cross-functional team, reporting to the Vice President leading this Business Unit. Our Electric Heating products are recognized by their quality and reliability, and we believe we are geared for significant growth in the upcoming years, having significant brand equity under the DEVI by Danfoss brand.

You are a thoughtful and experienced human resource expert, with the ability to build strong relationships and trust with a variety of personality profiles. You will provide strategic support to the EH Leadership Team, collaborating on competence building, talent development initiatives, and other strategic projects. You will also take a hands-on approach to improving People & Talent processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and talent coaching, tailored to the EH business unit's needs. You are a creative problem-solver, committed to lean and efficient processes, and passionate about developing high-performing teams.

Job Responsibilities

 

At this job you will:

Identify the competencies needed for Electric Heating to thrive in our markets and determine the gaps between those needs and our teams' existing skills. Craft plans to close competency gaps, both at team´s and individual´s level. Follow up with our employees and their career development within Danfoss, connecting with key stakeholders both at Danfoss Group and at Segments (particularly DCS), and putting particular focus on our talents or “Rising Stars”. Develop solid succession plans, identifying critical resources and building resilience in our business. Support our yearly people management wheel, including calibration on ratings, facilitating key process milestones and more. Support all recruitment initiatives, managing the process E2E. Support onboarding efforts, improving experience for our new employees as well as shortening the time until they are fully embedded into our teams. Review current compensation and identify gaps to close when feasible.

 

Background & Skills

 

The ideal candidate has got:

Master´s/Bachelor´s degree in  Human Resources, or a similar relevant subject. Relevant experience within strategic and operational HR roles. Experience in transformation and change management is a strong advantage. Has an innovative and strategic mindset. Lead  by influence mindset. Fluent in oral and written English.
