Job Summary
This position is for a researcher with extensive experience in molecular and cellular biology, virology, cell imaging, small animal models and a strong interest in translational research. They will be involved in ongoing NIH-funded projects in the field of neuroHIV, neuroprotection, and substance abuse. This experienced researcher is also expected to facilitate teamwork and actively participate to the training of graduate students, ultimately enhancing the research potential of the whole group.
Essential Functions
Design, conduct, analyze experiments in line with the overall research strategy of the lab; organize and report experimental data; assist PI with writing of grants and publications, literature search, preparation of material for presentations, technical training of new students, and other relevant tasks related to the research mission of the group.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate Minimum of 5-year experience in neurovirology/immunology researchPreferred Qualifications

This is a Full-time temporary position classified as non-exempt. The pay offered is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
