Our SAGE Concord location opened a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in the summer of 2022! It is the largest Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the East Bay area. Our next-generation facility has allowed SAGE Concord to significantly expand its Emergency, Specialty, and Urgent Care services to the growing East Bay community.

SAGE Concord is looking for a Client Service Coordinator to join our team on a per diem basis, picking up shifts as needed. Key Responsibilities:

Client Interaction: Welcome clients and their pets, ensuring a positive and supportive experienceAppointment Management: Schedule and coordinate appointments, procedures, and clinic operationsCommunication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide service informationRecord Keeping: Maintain accurate client and patient records while ensuring confidentialityCheck-In & Check-Out: Process client paperwork, verify information, and handle paymentsBilling: Assist with calculating fees, processing payments, and invoicingClient Education: Provide pet care information and answer general questionsFacility Maintenance: Keep the reception area organized and welcomingTeam Collaboration: Work closely with veterinary staff to ensure seamless operationsEmergency Response: Handle urgent situations calmly, directing clients appropriatelyProblem Solving: Address client concerns with professionalism, escalating as neededQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of customer service experience (veterinary hospital experience preferred)1+ years of hospitality experience (creating a welcoming and professional environment for clients)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to type 45+ WPM and use a 10-key calculatorComfortable entering data into medical records with accuracy and efficiencyWho You Are:
We’re looking for someone who embodies the following qualities:Strong customer service and communication skillsWarm, professional, and compassionate demeanorOrganized, adaptable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProblem-solver with discretion and attention to confidentialityBasic computer skills and willingness to learn veterinary softwarePrior veterinary or customer service experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn matter mostWork Schedule: This is a casual, on-call position with shifts available as needed.

Compensation: $22 - $26 hourly
