**Responsibilities** The Cardiology Lab Echo/Doppler technician is responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound studies, and when not occupied with those duties, acts as the administrative and technical support for all procedures provided by the cardiology lab. These procedures include EKGs, Holter monitoring, event monitoring, stress treadmill testing, nuclear stress testing, trans-telephonic pacemaker checks, tilt table testing, stress echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms, trans-thoracic echocardiograms, satellite test transmissions and result coordination **Job Title: Per Diem Echo/Doppler Technician- Cardiology Lab** **Location: Main Campus** **Department:** **Cardiology Lab** **Job Type: Per Diem** **Salary Range: $39.99 – $40.01 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)** **Qualifications** **Education** Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited echo cardiographer training program Preferred: AAS **Experience** Required: Two years echo cardiographer experience. This requirement may be met through completion of a two year accredited training program. Demonstrated ability to perform echocardiography studies to the satisfaction of the Kelsey-Seybold Cardiologists.
