Provides physical therapy services to patients ranging from the very young (newborn) to the elderly in order to prevent, alleviate or correct physical disability, bodily dysfunction, or pain. Responsible for treating inpatients and outpatients. Therapist Assistants are responsible for providing patient treatments/services according to a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist (PT). Serves patients of all age groups. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
Schedule and Pay:
Casual | Onsite Monday-Friday | Between 8am-5:30pm No nights, weekends, or holidays! $34.75 fixed per diem rateQualifications:
Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant academic program and successful completion of required clinical training by the academic facility required. Licensed through the MN Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant required, or a current temporary permit required with a Physical Therapist Assistant license required within 90 days of exam. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
