The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for: + Reviews and evaluates requisitions for Diagnostic imaging procedures, abstracting data from patient charts and determining appropriateness of procedure prescribed given diagnosis and clinical signs for routine examinations. + Identify patients according to Hospital Policy with 2 identifiers. + Selects appropriate equipment and technical factors to identify pathologic and normal anatomy. + Assesses patients' and parents' physical and emotional status and ability to respond to instructions and develop a care plan for that patients' specific needs. + Explain the examination and is able to answer questions from patient and parents regarding the exam and Radiation exposure, practices ALARA.Follows Departmental QC/Data Integrity Workflow. + Practices High Reliability Training. + Responds to the uniqueness of the patient, creating a supportive environment for the patient and the family. + Identifies and reports equipment malfunctions through the INeedit application. + Assists in organizing and maintaining daily operations. + Participates in departmental and hospital meetings. + Completes all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner. + Complies with ETU. + Complies with HIPAA regulations. + Practices the 6 core values of the Hospital; excellence, innovation, communication, respect, teamwork and accountability. + Furthers professional education and maintains knowledge of current regulations and standards, policies and procedures. + Maintains up-to-date licensure/certification/registration in departmental file. To qualify, you must have: + An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is required. + The analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in‑depth, experienced‑based knowledge. + MA Radiographer license and ARRT certification is required. + The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations. #LI-Onsite Office/Site Location:BostonRegular, Temporary, Per Diem:Per Diem Remote Eligibility :Onsite Only
