**Responsibilities** The RTC Registered nurse is responsible for applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills to promote the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational, and professional standards. This position will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to RTC patients through education, nursing assessment, and administration of medication. The RTC Registered Nurse assesses physiological and psychosocial needs, implements nursing interventions, and communicates patient concerns to the healthcare team **Job Title: Per Diem RN Rapid Treatment** **Location: Main Campus, Bay Area Bld. B, Springwoods Village** **Department:** **Rapid Treatment** **Job Type: Per Diem** **Salary Range: $43.99 – $44.01 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)** **Qualifications** **Education** Required: Associate degree in nursing Preferred: Bachelor degree in nursing **Experience** Required: 5 years RN experience OR 2 years in ICU and/or Emergency Department Preferred: ICU experience or over 5 years’ experience in Emergency Department **License(s)** Required: Valid and current Texas RN license BLS through American Heart Association ACLS within 3 months of employment Completion annually of 10 CEU’s related to Emergency Care Preferred: ACLS CCRN **Special Skills** Required: Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy.
