The Child and Adolescent Day Hospital at Sheppard Pratt’s Baltimore/Washington Campus is a warm and welcoming environment for adolescents who need more clinically-intensive services than can be provided in an outpatient setting. Our interdisciplinary treatment teams engage patients in six and a half hours of therapeutic programming each day.
What to expect.
You will provide compassionate care to children and adolescents ages 12-17. No evening or weekend hours are required.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Offering supportive counseling and monitoring progress towards treatment goals. Collaborating with treatment team members to communicate patient progress and contribute to treatment planning and aftercare planning processes. Participating in family meetings and collaborative care sessions as needed to support holistic patient care.What we need from you.
Must possess one of the following Maryland licenses at time of hire: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C) Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)At Sheppard Pratt, you will work alongside a multi-disciplined team led by a bold vision to change lives.
