Performance and Forecasting Head

Job Description

Job Summary: 

The Performance and Forecasting Head is responsible for leading the team to oversee and enhance the performance management mechanism and forecasting mechanism to ensure high-quality deliverables.

This role involves both developing and implementing strategies to monitor, evaluate, and improve performance, and analyzing historical performance, market trends, and future events to predict performance to support strategic decision-making. The Performance and Forecasting Head will work closely with senior management to align performance metrics and forecasts with business objectives and ensure that the organization is on the right track of its strategic KSFs and drives growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance management and Forecasting strategy and execution

Develop and implement performance management and forecasting frameworks, processes, and methodologies to evaluate the KSFs and to ensure a data-driven and accurate forecast

Monitor and interpret competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments to generate performance alerts and adjust forecasts accordingly

Generate/present performance and forecast insights to key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making

Continuously refine forecasting and performance management methodologies, incorporating new data source, models, and industry best practices

Identify areas for improvement in the performance management and forecasting process, aiming to enhance accuracy and agility

Cross-functional collaboration

Work closely with key stakeholders, including BE BPs, Advance Analytics team, and cross-functions to align forecasts and performance measures with business objectives

Leverage advanced forecasting models and techniques from advanced analytics team to advance accuracy and reliability of team deliverables

Team leadership and development

Lead and mentor the team, providing guidance, training and support on analysis, modeling techniques, and industry trends, etc. to ensure high performance

Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging team to stay updated on advancement in market insights and forecasting methodologies

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards in all team activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Proven experience in sales forecasting or performance management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in performance analysis and forecasting tools

Good communication and presentation skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Strong leadership and team management skills

Knowledge of industry regulations and ethical standards

Preferred Skills:

Experience with advanced analytics and performance management techniques.

Familiarity with pharmaceutical sales and market dynamics, and performance metrics and standards

Proficiency in data visualization tools and software

Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry
