We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Performance Attribution Technical Specialist to join our Rail and Transit Systems team in Auburn- NSW.
This is a specialist role designed to deliver the provision of technical and functional subject matter expertise for the operation, support and development of the fleet and reliability performance.
The successful candidate will analyse train systems data & business systems data to collate root causes and contributing factors to fleet operational delays & penalties. You will provide investigation and analysis reports for incident attribution and continuous improvement of fleet performance. You will be required to liaise with a range of internal stakeholders and representatives of the clients.
Ideally, you will have the following experience:
Mechanical, Electrical Tertiary Engineering qualification or other relevant trade qualification. Experience in the maintenance of complex electrical and mechanical systems, the use of PC based fault diagnostic tools, and implementation of reliability programs in a rolling stock, asset management or heavy maintenance industry. Experience working in Rail industry preferred but not essential. Experience dealing with customers on fleet performance & reliability matters. Knowledge of formal engineering change processes, configuration management processes and reliability improvement processes, including failure-reporting and investigations. Knowledge of quality assurance procedures. Knowledge of trouble shooting procedures and methods. Able to investigate defects and incidents to support the incident attribution. Able to develop and issue reliability reports and propose rollingstock performance improvement programs. Able to provide input to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact on fleet availability and sustainability.What we offer:
