With input from the Performance Excellence Leader and Regional Branch Banking leaders the Performance Excellence Manager will oversee the direction and execution in the development, diagnosis, execution and implementation of retail banking strategies, processes and tools specific to how retail employees engage U.S. Bank clients to help understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Additionally, the Performance Excellence Manager leverages data analysis to evaluate and drive continuous improvements to existing and new programs across the network. Performance Excellence Manager will collaborate with partners across multiple lines of businesses to elevate the voice of the field and drive performance excellence based on sustainable behaviors and routines. **Responsibilities** Leadership of Team: + Leads a team to successfully execute a tailored approach to fit the needs of assigned markets. + Measures and reports on the effectiveness of the performance excellence team. + Guides, engages, coaches and provides feedback to Performance Excellence Specialists + Evaluates and identifies the current and emerging skills, competencies and behaviors required to achieve desired results and prepares for future talent needs. + Develops a team that uses data and analytics to formulate recommendations with a corresponding plan of action that anticipates and overcomes potential obstacles. Region Support: + Supports the analysis of performance results and identifies trends to formulate and recommend an overarching performance improvement strategy. Branch and Small Business Banking Support: + Proven experience creating strategic alliances with organizational leaders and effectively aligning with and supporting key business initiatives. + Mastery of applying principles, concepts, and techniques of quality/performance improvement. + Develops and maintains strong partnerships across functional areas. **Basic Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent work experience + 7-10 years relevant experience in retail banking management, process improvement initiatives or continuous improvement applications **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience leading large revenue-producing teams + Knowledge of continuous improvement processes + Experience impacting business direction and performance with successful leadership strategies, tactical decision making and forward-thinking approaches + Proven sales and leadership coaching abilities + Has a demonstrated track record of successfully leading a team to positive revenue and profitability impact + Strong attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines + Fully proficient in application of performance measurement best practices + Advanced project management skills + Ability to conduct interventions with senior leaders to get initiatives on track If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants (https://careers.usbank.com/global/en/disability-accommodations-for-applicants) . **Benefits:** Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members’ whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00 - $172,590.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
