The Performance & Execution Specialist will be responsible for managing projects and transitions, with a strong emphasis on data visualization and data analytics to support decision-making and drive efficiency in our operations.
Goal of the Position:
The objective of the employee in this position is to support the growth and strategic expansion of the procurement portfolio. This is primarily achieved by managing assigned transitions and projects. The ultimate deliverable is the successful implementation of procurement strategies that meet customer and business partner requirements within the given scope, budget, and time, while fulfilling quality standards. In addition to managing projects, the employee will work to develop a professional project management culture within the procurement function, promoting best industry standards in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Execution of Assigned Projects:
+ Implementation of procurement strategies and initiatives, including additional sourcing support and packaging, SKU creation, and standards.
+ Continuous improvements in procurement processes, such as PGRX and reporting - analytics (PEX).
+ Design and implementation of new procurement solutions and systems, including contract management.
Data Analytics and Data Visualization:
+ Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards to provide insights and support decision-making.
+ Perform data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
+ Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and visualization efforts.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Communicating Results:
+ Regular updates on procurement projects and initiatives.
+ Provide detailed reports and visualizations to stakeholders to communicate project progress and outcomes.
Maintaining and Improving Procurement Methodologies:
+ Ensuring best practices in procurement processes and methodologies.
Development of Procurement Organization in Project Management and Strategic Initiatives:
+ Enhancing the procurement function's capabilities in project management and strategic initiatives, including segmentation of suppliers/service (develop, exit, strategic, transactional).
Project Management According to Procurement Roadmap and Priorities:
+ Aligning procurement projects with the overall roadmap and priorities, including continuous improvement and escalation path for top offenders.
Risk Management to Improve Quality of Procurement Projects and Processes:
+ Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure the successful realization of procurement projects and processes.
Project Team Support:
+ Providing guidance and support to project teams to ensure successful project execution.
Other Responsibilities Delegated by Direct Supervisor:
+ Undertaking additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Compliance with 3M Regulations and Policies:
+ Adhering to all 3M regulations and policies in the execution of procurement projects and initiatives.

+ Successful completion of projects and transitions within the defined timeline and budget.
+ Quality and accuracy of data visualization and reporting.
+ Effectiveness of procurement strategies in meeting customer and business partner requirements.

Qualifications for Success:
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration).
+ 3-5 years of experience in project management, with additional skills in data analytics.
+ Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analytics techniques is a plus.
+ Strong knowledge of procurement processes and methodologies.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

+ Authority to make decisions related to project management, data visualization, and procurement strategies within the scope of the role.
+ Ability to recommend and implement process improvements and procurement solutions.
+ Responsibility to escalate issues and seek guidance from senior management as needed.
