The Position
Kaufman, Hall & Associates, LLC, is seeking a senior level contributor to our Operations Improvement service line within Kaufman Hall’s Revenue and Operations Improvement practice.  The position demands a strong project management background, the ability to lead change, guide a project from conception to completion, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.  The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of several workstream (Workforce, Project Management/Results Management, Care Transitions, Non-Labor, etc.), to assist with while leading projects. The successful candidate will be expected to lead client engagements with minimal oversight, prioritize the team’s work, build trusting relationships with the client C-Suite, facilitate interdependencies between workstreams and manage client expectations.  The leader will be fully capable of presenting to senior management teams and boards and be able to drive the organization to decisions around critical issues while simultaneously managing multiple client engagements with a variety of staff. The consultant is expected to develop new business opportunities and create cross selling opportunities for Kaufman Hall’s other practices. 

The essential functions of the position are:Works with client and KH teams to assess and implement process and operational improvements, and savings opportunitiesDirecting and managing healthcare and hospital workforce optimization and other related performance improvement engagementsFunctioning not only as a subject matter expert, but also managing teams, while providing overall project direction to drive successful delivery of work productLeading the development of Kaufman Hall assignments including research on the evolving nature of specific markets, development of enterprise-wide strategies for health systems, assessment of growth strategies and strategic options in consolidating markets, and creation of network redesign plansLeading transformational organizational change for clientsWorking cross functionally leading to significant growth for Kaufman HallPenetrate further current accounts by teaming up with other Kaufman Hall senior executives.Proactive pursuit of new accounts in the Healthcare Provider market segment. Promotes collaboration with workstreams.
