The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case. **Summary:** Under the direction of the Manager of Clinical Performance Improvement, the Performance Improvement Nurse will have the responsibility of developing and implementing activities that focus on demonstrating the quality and value of care provided by Rush Health physicians. The Performance Improvement Nurse will primarily be responsible for collection of data, analyzing data, and the development and implementation of improvement strategies. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. **Other information:** **Required Job Qualifications:** • A valid Registered Nurse license • At least two years of quality improvement experience • Proven leadership skills • Valid Illinois driver’s license and vehicle ownership • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to prioritize well • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously • Strong written and verbal skills • Strong analytical skills are required • Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access **Preferred Job Qualifications:** • At least two years of managerial experience. **Responsibilities:** • Collaborate with physicians, administrative and clinical staff for RUSH HEALTH physician members on quality improvement initiatives • Act as liaison to quality departments of RUSH HEALTH hospitals and Chicago area insurers • Assist in the design and implementation of quality improvement initiatives • Participate in collection of clinical and administrative data from RUSH HEALTH physician practices and RUSH HEALTH hospitals for use in quality improvement and management projects • Assist in managing quality improvement and management workgroups charged with the development of quality improvement policies and reporting (data definitions, trend reports, visual displays of quantitative information) • Assist in the design and analysis of clinical data and performance reports for use by physician members, CPI management, RUSH HEALTH management, hospital and medical staff • Analyze RUSH HEALTH provider performance in relation to quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols • Assist in development and implementation of patient and physician satisfaction survey initiatives • Serve as a resource for patient education initiatives • Staff committees as assigned • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
