The Performance Improvement Specialist, part of Noble's Operations Performance team, works to enhance operational efficiency and reduce recurring issues using data-driven insights. The role involves monitoring rig and well performance across multiple rigs, collaborating with team members to share best practices, and supporting rig management through data and lessons learned to address performance deviations and implement improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma.4+ year’s offshore drilling experience with a drilling contractor.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, experience with TDE proNova is an advantage.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively and productively in a team environment.Ability to build productive relationships and communicate daily with offshore based management.Ability to demonstrate results for performance improvement and optimization.Must be self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic.Travel is an essential job function (est. 25%, domestic, international, & offshore).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Daily tracking of well and rig performance utilizing both observational and digital sources.Analysis of well and rig performance and benchmark against rig key performance indicators (KPI’s) and customer targets.Conduct trend and root cause analysis on deviations from targets in the operational performance.Identify and share potential improvement areas based on input from the daily operations reports (NDOR) as well as other reports provided.Support rigs with performance insights and best practice guides.Maintain the lessons learned repository, ensure an effective experience transfer of best practices across the fleet and drive value creation from lessons learned in the entire organization.Prepare and distribute daily deviation reports to the fleet including recommendations for potential improvement.In close collaboration with rigs within area of responsibility drive performance by supporting with performance updates, analysis and lessons learned.Together with the Performance Systems team develop performance reports and tools for analyzing operational performance.Prepare and distribute performance reports both internally and with customer when relevant, including, but not limited to end of well and quarterly reporting.Maintain and update a repository of performance data for all rig types to be used for target setting and for supporting the commercial department with performance data during tender process.Take active part in the target setting process for the rigs in the fleet based on historical performanceConduct comparative equipment analysis for optimization of drilling processes.Other duties and projects as assigned.SUPERVISORY
