Their primary responsibility is to travel and work within a cross functional problem-solving team to proactively implement performance improvements within the production and maintenance operations while ensuring timely and cost-efficient production/distribution of Company products. This position interacts with facility management to identify areas of opportunity to improve production and quality standards in a safe manner and promotes and maintains positive working relationships with the production group. **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Responsible for equipment strategic plans/upgrade strategy (DSI, Slitters, etc) + Maximizes specifications and minimizes operating variances + Works within the KPI structure to manage performance + Focuses on centerline performance (operating conditions of the equipment on lines) + Supports and promotes the company’s annual People, Products, and Profitability goals through effective planning, communication, emphasizing the requirement for all team members to be efficient and effective in their respective responsibilities + Audit process performance and report findings + Establish and conduct training on new or improved processes **Minimum Education and Experience** Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Agriculture or related discipline plus 8-10 or more years related work experience. Must be able to travel to other facilities and plants 50% of their time. Proven track record demonstrating ability to get results. Must be able to organize multiple protocols/projects and complete on schedule. Able to develop protocols and processes and deploy. Able to analyze and resolve problems at both a strategic and functional level. Must be able to communicate to all levels of the organization; possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills. **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** 1. Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. 2. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
