Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily.

Hybrid fixed are roles that are a blend of onsite work/in-person interactions with some ability to work remotely and require employees to live within a commutable distance and be onsite fixed days each week.

Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.

Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary

The position supports the governance of the balanced scorecard, metric analysis, benchmarking, strategic initiatives, process diagnostics, and procedure adherence. As a Performance Measurement Associate, you will be responsible for developing performance measurement frameworks, which includes defining performance KPIs, goals, and aligning to client needs.  You will also be required to compile monthly/quarterly/annually performance reports, utilize the gathered data to develop actionable insights to identify and mitigate operational risks, as well as improve existing and implement additional efficient processes.  This role involves working closely with various departments to gather data for performance reports utilizing visualization tool sets to assist in optimizing organizational performance and achievement of business objectives. This is a multi-level growth series position with future growth opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

Typical roles and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
•    Perform business and data analytics, reviews data for accuracy and integrity, conducts data analysis to identify trends, develops reports, and dashboards to meet the needs of the operating areas and leadership in support of all scorecard tiers and benchmarking.
•    Develop and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate and enhance the efficiency of the company’s ongoing operations.
•    Introduce data visualization, project management, and post-implementation support to the ongoing projects.
•    Complete assigned reports or as requested performance reports to the management team.
•    Gather, link, and prepare scorecard metric data from diverse sources for identified metric drivers, correlations, and performance gaps.
•    Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and data visualization files.
•    Support the benchmarking efforts, target setting, and goal development process.
•    Requires an ability to develop strong client relationships at all levels within the Lines of Business. Interface personally with leadership, process owners, and management to support, obtain and act on feedback for all elements of the balanced scorecard process.
•    Attend various multi-level operational meetings at various site locations.

 

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Education, Competencies and Skills:
•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 4 years of experience in the fields of Finance/Business/Data Analytics/Economics/Mathematics or related discipline
•    Demonstrated organization, analytical, and quantitative analysis skills
•    Experienced with MS Office Products - Access, Word and PowerPoint and using advanced Excel features
•    Demonstrated ability to synthesize data and produce meaningful information that can be used for decision or policy/procedure making
•    Demonstrated ability to develop new approaches with applicable tools to measure success
•    Ability to learn new systems and applications quickly and effectively
•    Strong planning and organizing skills to be both adaptable and results oriented
•    Strong oral and written communication skills
•    Must be detail oriented and able to work independently 
•    Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and promote team effectiveness by soliciting input from team members and communicating expectations

Desired Education, Competencies and Skills:
•    MBA or progress towards one
•    Experience in the utility sector, regulatory compliance or related areas
•    Database development or programming with Tableau and Power BI data visualization
•    Lean Six Sigma training or experience
•    Working knowledge of SAP, DWMS, CMMS, OMS and other applications
•    Strong knowledge of SQL and relational data bases
•    Knowledge of industry-specific performance metrics and benchmark studies
