This team is responsible for analyzing detailed KPIs related to the business performance of the Consumer Energy business – particularly focused on retention, bad debt, revenue optimization, and margin. This team is also responsible for working with business owners to identify, implement, and measure improvements to these KPIs._ + _This role will address KPIs across the Consumer Energy business, with initial focus on Texas Bad Debt & revenue optimization._ **Essential Duties/Responsibilities:** + _Data analysis of business KPIs. Will include analysis of underlying transactional records in SQL and other tools to identify underlying drivers of business performance._ + _Analysis using statistical and other techniques to identify improvement opportunities._ + _Definition and implementation of change programs (i.e. business practices, process changes) to improve business performance._ + _A combination of data analytics skills and business acumen will be required to succeed._ + _Also responsible for collaborating with business process owners to design and implement change programs._ **Working Conditions:** + _Open office environment._ + _Some overtime required as special projects arise._ + _Minimal Travel based on business need._ **Minimum Requirements:** + _Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience (15+years)_ + _5+ years experience in related roles (Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Operations Improvement, etc.)_ + _Data Analytics Experience (i.e. SQL, Python, BI Tools, etc.)_ **Preferred Qualifications:** + _Operations Improvement Experience (i.e. Applied Analytics, Process Consulting, Six-Sigma, etc.)_ + _Subscription Business Experience (Utility, Telco, Streaming, etc. Retail Electricity/Gas Preferred)_ **Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + _Strong Business Acumen_ + _Collaboration_ + _Basic Project Management Skills_ **Physical Requirements:** + _Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities._ NRG Energy is committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
