**Description**
Responsibilities include building automation frameworks and enhancing or integrating with existing technologies, to deliver automated performance testing solutions, including troubleshooting and debugging any issues with automated solutions and tests. Additionally, responsible for automated or manual test execution, analyzing test results, reproducing and reporting issues, assist in identifying and reproducing test blocking and automation blocking bugs, interacting with multi-functional team members for performance related tasks and deliverables. Successful candidates will have excellent organizational and communication skills -- you'll be juggling many different tasks at a time, across many different scenarios on a large scale and need to keep track of all deliverables and related timelines -- as well as the creativity and initiative to help us proactively discover performance issues or areas for improvement.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Good debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
+ Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
+ Excellent understanding and application of scripting language, such as Python
+ Familiarity with command line tools and environments such as shell scripting and bash
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ System level knowledge on software and hardware is preferred
+ Experience with Performance testing is preferred
+ Experience in continuous integration tooling (e.g. Jenkins) is preferred
**Pay & Benefits**
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
