About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09 S&P Global Market Intelligence The Role: Performance Engineer The Team: The team is part of the larger Lending Solutions technology team, composed of over 50+ engineers operating in the USA (United States of America), Europe, and India. All team members share a passion for technology and solving complex technical problems with a focus on quality and high performance. The Impact: Lending Solutions is seeking an experienced technologist to become a member of the Notice Manager quality engineering team based in Gurgaon, India. This person will work closely with existing team members in this dynamic and challenging industry to develop and maintain innovative solutions for a Syndicated Loans platform, with emphasis on testability, and leveraging existing components to accomplish timely delivery of software products according to the business schedule. Primarily responsible for performance testing of the application but also responsible for building solutions for other Non-Functional Testing types. You will interface various business units in the planning of major functionality, analyze business functional requirements to determine the scope of work and evaluate available application alternatives to support business needs. Responsibilities: The responsibilities of a Performance Test Engineer are as follows: Designing and developing performance test scenarios and scripts based on project requirements. Executing performance tests to measure the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications. Analyzing test results and identifying performance bottlenecks, issues, and areas for improvement. Collaborating with development and other QA engineers to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in CS or IT preferred (or equivalent experience) 4 - 6 years of experience as a Performance Test Engineer. Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter. Experience in designing and executing performance test scenarios and scripts. Ability to analyze and interpret performance test results and identify performance bottlenecks. Knowledge of performance monitoring and profiling tools. Familiarity with web technologies and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, REST, SOAP). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
