Performance Tester with Fiddler
Description:
The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a contractor resource to serve on a technical team responsible for working with a vendor on the installation of the Crossroads Women's, Infant and Children (WIC) project.
The position’s duties include, but are not limited to: Providing senior level technical leadership and expertise in the areas of performance testing. This position requires candidates that have extensive experience w/ performance and load testing using Microsoft Visual Studio tools; Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate and Fiddler and testing against Microsoft MVC 3 and WPF applications. SQL Server 2008 experience is also required. The candidate must have the ability to quickly gain an understanding of business requirements and determine the impacts to systems. The candidate should have the ability to explain complex system concepts to customers, staff and peers in a simple and effective manner, and be able to quickly evaluate operational situations, choose the most appropriate resolution, and manage the resolution to completion. This resource will take the lead for performance testing and cross-train state employees.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Required Skills:
* Minimum (5) years development experience with .NET 2.0 & 4.0., Visual Studio 2010, SQL Server 2008 R2, IIS 5.0 & 7.5, MQ Series, VB.NET, WPF, WCF
* Microsoft Enterprise Application Blocks, HMTL, HTTP, XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, Web services
* Experience with the development and support of technical solutions for supporting business processes
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills and a self-starter
* Ability to convey clearly verbal or written information to individuals or groups
Education & Training:
A minimum of 2 year degree in Information Technology or a 2 year degree with experience in the required information technology areas
