GovCIO is currently hiring for Performance Tester/Business Analyst to execute and report results of performance tests. This position will be located in Sterling, VA and will be a fully remote position.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Provides technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems. They have the business knowledge and perspective of a particular business and the IT needs of that customer. Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flows. May also be functional experts in financial, program control or logistical areas.
Execute and report results of performance tests. Perform integration testing of software and hardware for DEA classified, and SBU systems. Ensure the QA and testing approach references all known vulnerabilities and best practices. Conduct and report testing using a repeatable process based on industry best practices. Maintain testing lab environments for system integration and testing. Leverage VMware virtualization to provide production-like DEA classified and SBU test environments for use by engineering, integration, and development teams. Provide systems administration and operations support. Maintain configuration and performance (uptime) for the Integration and Performance Lab to enable the accurate evaluation, integration, testing, and packaging for deployment. Maintain and update the pre-production and test environment, that contains production data, to maintain production environment alignment. Test new deployments and system changes in the lab and pre-production test environment prior to deployment to production. Qualifications High School with 6 - 9 years performance testing (or commensurate experience)Clearance required: Active Secret clearance with ability to maintain a DEA Suitability clearance

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
