Serve as a clinical resource for continuous compliance Monitor and evaluate quality of care and patient outcomes based upon standards of care as well as the findings of nursing research, hospital policies/procedures and applicable patient care protocols Identifies opportunities for improvement and facilitates in the development of action plans in collaboration with the staff, senior staff and manager Assists with staffing coverage to ensure delivery of safe quality patient care. Performs clinical/technical duties when needed Assist in developing educational programs to enhance the clinical and technical education for all staff Role models assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation in providing individualized quality patient care Assists in the investigation, evaluation, monitoring and processing of Incident Reports and medication variances to determine trends and provisions of action plansAssists in developing and implementing orientation and preceptor programsBuild and upload scenarios into the Laerdal and Gaumard laptop UNI program. Monitor maintenance and upkeep of simulators. Add verbiage to skills: Ability to operate, build, and troubleshoot the technical components of simulation software. Fast learner and retainer of simulation related concepts directly related to disassembling and reassembling simulator devices.Qualifications
