Under the direction of a registered nurse, responsible for providing support to nursing staff and assisting in the delivery of patient care following departmental and hospital policies and procedures.   Responsibilities:   • Transports patients. • Performs basic patient care duties. • Performs general unit support activities such as cleaning of rooms, running errands, stocking supplies. • Assists with basic desk duties such as answering phones and order entry. • Performs other related responsibilities as necessary.
