Job Summary: As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the surgical process, providing holistic care to patients before, during, and after surgery to promote positive outcomes and ensure patient safety and comfort.

The Role: Perioperative RN

Provides direct patient care to intraoperative patients using the nursing process following applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Position Highlights:

This position is for 40 hours per weekThere is a required call rotation

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and assess patient care plans based on thorough assessments.Diligently monitor and effectively communicate patient conditions.Collaborate across disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.Undertake the maintenance and troubleshooting of surgical equipment.Demonstrate adept delegation skills, overseeing support staff tasks, and potentially engaging in the precepting of new hires.

Your Qualifications:

Valid state of Maine RN license or the ability to obtain one promptly.Previous OR experience is required.Demonstrated flexibility, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills.Dedication to ongoing learning and professional development.Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
