Perioperative Services Business Manager

Position Summary
Provides business support for assigned service line(s) inclusive of, but not limited to; monthly financial analysis/reporting, creation and interpretation of service line(s) specific reporting, ROI on capital investments, volume/financial projections, annual budget, value analysis, billing/reimbursement, and capital equipment management.
Responsibilities
• Monitors expenses and facilitates compliance with budget in each department within the service line
• Independently analyzes productivity and financial stewardship of services offered within assigned service line and presents opportunities for financial and efficiency improvements
• In coordination with Executive Director and finance, supports and facilitates the creation of the annual operating and capital budget for each department
• Supports service line leadership in decision making, new business models, contracting and budgeting
• Prepares regular program analysis and status reports for the Executive Director
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
• Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s in Business Administration required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in business management or healthcare finance required
• Microsoft Office proficient; advanced skills in Excel
Working Conditions
• Must be able to lift and move up to 10 lbs
• Must be able to maintain a sitting position
• Typical equipment used in an office job
• Repetitive movements
