Peripheral Vascular Technologist
Overview

The Cardiovascular Testing department uses state of the art equipment, by Registered Peripheral Vascular Technologists to perform normal and abnormal Vascular anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology. The Registered Peripheral Vascular Technologist must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of Ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of the Cardiovascular system (at multiple locations/ambulatory sites). Demonstrated proficiency must be in accordance with established guidelines and departmental policies and procedures. The Registered Peripheral Vascular Technologist will also understand the needs of the organization and support the mission, values and management of the division of Cardiovascular Services. Basic Life Support Required. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification.

Education

Graduate Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound Required Associate's Degree Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound Preferred
Experience
