Job Description

We are hiring for Full Time and PRN Peritoneal Dialysis Nurses.

Position to start October 2024 and Clinic to open February 2025. Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm and full-time RNs will have an ON-CALL requirement. PRN requirement is 2 shifts per month.


The Dialysis Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients of the Facility and under the license of the Facility in need of renal replacement therapy. Functions effectively as a member of the dialysis team, supporting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta mission. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Experience

12 Months RN experience requiredMinimum 3 months experience providing home hemodialysis and or peritoneal dialysis 

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience leading teamsMinimum 6 months experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing school

Certification Summary

Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure CompactBasic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employmentPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Valid Driver's license with clean driving record at applicable location (Determined by department unit)
