Job Summary:
Receives incoming documents for the division/section/unit;
Sorts, classifies and distributes documents to concerned staff/division/office for appropriate action;
Faxes, scans and/or email copies of documents and office communications to different division/section/unit offices for their information and appropriate action;
Files, stores and retrieves copies of memorandum, guidelines and other centralized documents of the division/section/unit to ensure that there are available sources which can serve as references for staff/basis for actions, etc.
Answers phone calls, assists visitors/clients of the division/section/unit and refers their queries to concerned staff/division/section/unit;
Attends to all administrative requirements of the division/section/unit (request for venue, meals, invitations; photocopying and packaging of materials/documents; equipment to be used) for the conduct of activities/meeting of the division/section/unit, as needed;
Performs other tasks as may be delegated.
