Education          :  Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

Experience        :  One (1) year of relevant experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education          :  Bachelor’s degree preferably in Management, Business/Public Administration or any other related courses

Experience        :  At least one (1) year of relevant experience on research and development

Training             :  At least four (4) hours of relevant training

Eligibility            :  Career Service Professional / Second Level Eligibility

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, performs supervisory, technical, administrative and support function of the Office of the Director (OD) and does other related works.

Functions and Responsibilities

1.     Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem-solving and making adjustment to plans;

2.   Prioritizes conflicting needs, handle matter expeditiously, proactively and follows through on project implementation to successful completion of projects;

3.   Coordinates and collaborates with offices within and/or outside the Department to ensure efficient, effective, and timely delivery of services;

4.     Monitors submission of necessary reports to EXECOM and MANCOM;

5.   Performs coordination, consolidation and monitoring function of NRLMB reports related to its actions during emergency/disaster operations;

6.     Provides technical support to both the Director IV and officers of NRLMB;

7.   In-charge of providing appropriate reception by welcoming guests/visitors and arranging programs and functions, answering queries and meeting requests directed to the Bureau Director;

8.     Prepares initial drafts of correspondences and documents coming from the office of the Bureau Director;

9.     Acts upon all project proposals including timely management of all incoming and outgoing emails, phone calls, and official correspondence;

10.  Manages the official travel schedule of the NRLMB Director and NRLMB’s core team and facilitates the travel authority and special orders of personnel;

11.  Acts as NRLMB secretariat to various meetings, workshops, trainings and events and ensures that participants are well informed of the schedule and requirements of the event;

12.  Arranges weekly/monthly/quarterly management meetings, prepares agenda, minutes, action lists and provides administrative support if necessary; and

13.  Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Head of NRLMB.

Initial Shortlisting:
