JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Chief, Personnel Administration Division (PAD) and the Section Head, and with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, performs somewhat difficult responsible professional work requiring training, considerable experience and knowledge along personnel administration.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.Assists the Section Head in implementing the work program of the Section;

2.Formulates/recommends personnel policies/guidelines pertaining to compensation and benefits administration;

3.Reviews existing policies and recommends amendments/enhancements to adapt to existing conditions; 

4.Drafts replies to queries based on existing policies, guidelines and established procedures;

5.Prepares/processes payroll/vouchers/remittances and other financial documents;

6.Prepares required reports, communications and other correspondence relative to personnel transactions, programs and activities;

7.Provides inputs to the Quarterly/Annual Accomplishment Report based on the accomplishments of the Section;

8.Acts as representative of the Section Head to meetings/activities as need arises;

9.Performs such other related personnel administration functions.

Job Outputs:

1.Reports;

2.Guidelines and input on guidelines, as assigned;

3.Payrolls, remittances, OBRs, DVs, and other compensation and benefits related documents;

4.Research/write-ups and policy recommendations related to systems and processes on compensation and benefits;

5.Memoranda and other office communications; and

6.Other personnel actions related to compensation and benefits.
