JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, performs administrative and support services functions related to general services activities, implementation of policies; and does related work.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Acts as Section Head of the Transport Management Section; supervises the section staff;

2. Recommends systems improvement/enhancement/development by preparing draft guidelines/policies on transport managements to provide an effective and efficient transport management service;

3. Prepares/drafts communications/correspondences/memoranda/terms of references/project proposals pertaining to transport management services, among others, as required by the Division Chief;

4. Prepares accomplishment reports of the Section Chief and other documents as required and/or pursuant to the QMS ISO 9001:2015;

5. Identifies and submits risks analysis; monitors the risk treatment plan of the Section;

6. Reviews and affixes initials to all documents pertaining to the processing of TMS documents prior to the signature of the Division Chief, in accordance to the existing accounting rules and regulations;

7. Prepares periodical reports of transport management section as required by the Division Chief;

8. Provides technical assistance to all Field Offices related to technical concerns of the Section’s mandate;

9. Monitors and evaluates the systems and processes of the Section to ensure that all deliverables of the Section are accomplished;

10. Performs other tasks and designations as may be assigned.

If two (2) or more vacant positions with the same title and Salary Grade are published at the same time, and there is only one (1) longlist of applicants provided by HRMDS, additional two (2) applicants for every Regular Positions will be added on top five (5) highest rating. However, all the additional shortlisted positions should meet the 80\% cut off.
