JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Chief Cashier, the A.O V/Cashier III, shall act as Head of the Section (Disbursement Section Regular Programs, Disbursement Section for Special Programs, Fund Transfer and Cash Position Reporting Section) of the Cash Division. Oversees and directs the day-to-day operations of the section. Supervises the processing of financial claims, including releasing checks and controlling/monitoring cash balances. Review processes/procedures and recommend improving current procedures for more effective and efficient internal control. Act as OIC in the Cash Division in the absence of the Chief and Supervising Administrative Officer, and do related works.
Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Prepares Letter, Memoranda;
2. Handles cash advances as needed and Liquidation Report;
3. Review/Verify Advice of Checks Issued and Cancelled (ACIC), List of Due and Demandable Accounts Payable-Advice to Debit Account (LDDAP-ADA), Authority to Debit/Credit Account (AD/CA), Fund Transfer Allocation (FTA), Notice of Transfer of Allocation (NTA) and Notice of Barangay Transfer of Fund (NBTF);
4. Renders technical assistance to different OBSUs as well as to Field Offices and oversight agencies on cash issues and concerns, especially on cash advances and disbursements;
5. Assists in the preparation of Work and Financial Plans;
6. Attends various meetings; and
7. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.

8. Valid NBI/Police Clearance or proof of payment i.e. official receipt of the NBI/Police clearance;
9. Authenticated or photocopy of Civil Service Eligibility and/or Valid PRC ID/Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID/proof of payment or schedule of appointment for the PRC/IBP renewal license; and
10. Performance Rating in the last rating period or its equivalent, as may be applicable (For those applicants from the public sector vying for promotion, a performance rating is required).
