JOB SUMMARY

Under direction, executes/recommends program relating to management and provision of general services; provides/formulates/interprets/executes policies, plans and activities related to provision of logistical support; and does related work.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.     Manages/supervises Section Heads of the General Services Division;

2.    Interprets and implements policies, rules and regulations relative to general services and logistical support;

3.     Recommends guidelines and standards for efficient management of transportation, account management and bills payment, janitorial and security and Central Office dormitories and function rooms;

4.     Ensures compliance to all regulations and recommended solutions applicable to the division;

5.     Oversees systems development in monitoring, tracking and receiving requests on various services;

6.     Oversees efficient contract and accounts management on various services;

7.     Initiates and supervises, as needed, the conduct of specific studies/researches pertaining to the work of the Division;

8.     Recommends work methods or procedures in the implementation of GSS policies;

9.  Analyzes/initials required reports, communications and other correspondence for signature of the Administrative Service Director;

10.  Attends to inter-office/agency meetings, seminars, symposia and other official gatherings related to logistics support and general services for the Department;

11.  Assists in enforcing office discipline and submit recommendations on matter for disciplinary actions; and

12.  Performs other related tasks that shall be assigned from time to time.

Initial Shortlisting:

Obtain 80% of the maximum total ETE score and only those who obtained a high average percentile on Initial Qualifying Test
