JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direct supervision of the BGMD Chief, is responsible for overseeing the construction activities; planning, coordinating, assisting in cost control, ensuring a safe work environment, recommending repairs, supervising the maintenance of tools and equipment, and determining work procedures.
Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Attend necessary works in the maintenance, construction and repair of the building and other facilities of the department.
2. Provide technical assistance and advice on maintenance and construction works including the use and care of building equipment and facilities.
3. Prepare and submit periodic reports to immediate supervisors.
4. Drafting of any Detailed Estimates documents relative to proposed infrastructure, building maintenance and repair works.
5. Shall serve as Construction and Maintenance General Foreman; regulate, monitor and supervise the activities of unskilled and skilled personnel and technicians including inspection of their works.
6. Consult and assist the BGMD Chief, Engineers and Architects in all building and grounds maintenance and construction works.
7. Undertake other tasks that may be assigned from time to time related to BGMD functions.
Job Outputs:
1. Weekly/Monthly repair/maintenance and monitoring reports.
2. Technical assistance, feedback, and accomplishment reports.
3. Detailed Cost Estimate.
4. Other reports that may be required.

8.Authenticated copy of Civil Service Eligibility and/or Valid PRC ID/Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID/proof of payment or schedule of appointment for the PRC/IBP renewal license; and
9.Performance Rating in the last rating period or its equivalent, if applicable.
Note: For internal (including COS workers) and external applicants from public sectors, latest and duly approved Individual Performance Contract Rating (IPCR) is required.
