JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the director of the Division Chief of the Legal Management Division – Legal Service. The Administrative Assistant I performs administrative support services functions related in the areas of financial management and records management. Assist lawyers in case management especially but not limited to transcription of cases’ stenographic notes and other related activities, and does other related works, designate and attends TWGs activities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or LS Director, and other related tasks.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Draft basis memoranda and simple communications;

2. Assist lawyers in case management especially but not limited to transcription of cases’ stenographic notes and other related activities;

3. Provide support in property and supply accountabilities of the office;

4. Provide support in finance and procurement activities of the office;

5. Assist in applicable system administration/computer application management and infrastructure management;

6. Attend to assigned administrative duties and responsibilities;

7. From time to time, the Director may assign other related tasks and responsibilities

Job Outputs:

1. Memoranda and basis legal documents within the prescribed deadline;

2. Stenographic notes;

3. Disbursement Vouchers for claims of internal and external creditors accurately processed and with complete supporting documents;

4. Organized Data Tracking System;

5. Organized files/records; and 

6. Other reports as may be required.
