JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs technical functions in the Standards Enforcement and Advocacy Division (SEAD) and do other related functions. 

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.Monitors the operations of unregistered and unlicensed organizations and unauthorized public solicitation/fund drives in collaboration with the Field Offices;

2.Manages complaints and information of cases against erring Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs), accredited service providers and individuals/organizations on DSWD’s regulatory guidelines and related laws, in collaboration with Field Offices and Central Office Review Committee (CORC); 

3.Provides technical assistance to Field Offices and SWDAs;

4.Serves as the Secretariat of the Department-CORC in handling appealed cases on violations allegedly committed by the SWDAs;

5.Refers/coordinates to government agencies on the needed action against organizations, individuals or group violating related laws;

6.Conceptualizes and develops standardized information education campaign (IEC) materials along regulatory services;

7.Conducts advocacy activities to the target public via various platforms;

8.Develops and sustains partnership with appropriate national government agencies (NGAs) and other stakeholders in enforcing the regulatory functions/services; and 

9.Performs other tasks as assigned by the Division Chief, Assistant Bureau Director or Bureau Director.

Job Outputs:

1.Technical reports along advocacy and enforcement of regulatory services e.g., resolutions, monitoring, and confirmation reports; activity proceedings; minutes of meeting; proposals; feedback reports, IEC materials and among others;

2.Communications to OBSUs, FOs, and various stakeholders relative to advocacy of regulatory services; 

3.Consolidated Bureau/Division/Section’s Quarterly and Annual Accomplishment Reports; and 

4.Database along advocacy and enforcement.

Initial Shortlisting:

10. Performance Rating in the last rating period or any of its equivalent, if applicable.
