JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Director, oversees, plans, directs, and supervises the division relative to matters of planning, monitoring, evaluation, information & technology systems, and communication of the Bureau; ensures the provision of technical assistance to other Divisions of the Bureau in achieving their program implementation targets and fulfillment of mandates; recommends policy, strategies/approaches for more effective implementation and does other related work.

 

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.     Oversee overall planning, monitoring, and evaluation of program operation and implementation;

2.     Executes policies and programs standards

3.     Ensures integration of specialization in the development of programs;

4.     Identifies areas for action research necessary for the development of the different welfare programs;

5.     Recommends other programs which may complement/supplement or modify existing programs/projects;

6.     Supervises Technical and Administrative support to the Bureau Director

7.     Assists in the preparation of materials and literature on the different programs;

8.     Performs the function of the planning officer of the bureau to handle among others;

●       Performance Governance System (PGS)

●       Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of program/activities,

●       Performance Contracting

9.     Performs other tasks that may be assigned.

9.     Performance Rating in the last rating period or its equivalent, as may be applicable (For those applicants from the public sector vying for promotion, a performance rating is required).
