JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs desk review of applications and assessment visit to Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs) and/or Service Providers (SPs) and provide technical assistance to Standards Bureau’s counterparts, SWDAs, and SPs, and does other related work.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Conducts assessment of application for registration and licensing of SWDAs;

2. Conducts assessment on the Accreditation of social welfare programs and services of Registered and Licensed SWDAs;

3. Conducts assessment visit on the Accreditation of Social Workers Managing Court Cases and Senior Citizens Centers;

4. Assess/reviews applications for SEC endorsement of non-government organizations with social welfare activities, national fund drives and duty-free entry of foreign donated goods;

5. Prepares and submits assessment reports on registration, licensing and accreditation of programs and services of SWDAs and SPs;

6. Acts on the requests and queries from Field Offices (FOs), OBSUs and various agencies relative to registration, licensing and accreditation and other regulatory concerns;

7. Provides technical assistance to applicants along registration, licensing, accreditation, and other regulatory services;

8. Monitors, guides and assists the SWDAs on compliance to existing DSWD policies/guidelines; and

9.      Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.

Job Outputs:

1. Assessment Reports;

2.  Accomplishment Reports; and

3. Certificate of Registration/Licensing/Accreditation/Authority to Conduct National Fund-Raising Campaign.

7.Valid NBI/Police Clearance or proof of payment i.e. official receipt of the NBI/Police clearance;

8.Authenticated copy of Civil Service Eligibility and/or Valid PRC ID/Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID/proof of payment or schedule of appointment for the PRC/IBP renewal license; and 

9.Performance Rating in the last rating period or its equivalent, if applicable.

Note: For internal (including COS workers) and external applicants from public sectors, latest and duly approved Individual Performance Contract Rating (IPCR) is required.
