JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direct supervision of the Bureau Director/Assistant Bureau Director, provides technical support on the concerns of the assigned sector and oversees the division’s deliverables based on schedules, projects, plans, and activities.
Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Acts as Head and Supervisor for a specific section, thus ensuring performance and management of the section.
2. Formulate, propose, and develop policies specific to the programs being handled.
3. Perform policy research and review for the revision/enhancement of existing policies of programs being handled.
4. Plans, organizes, and coordinates the work of the Division towards the attainment of periodic targets;
5. Oversees execution of policies and plans and directs and supervises the Division in the provision of technical assistance, monitoring, and evaluation of residential care and center-based services;
6. Reviews and provides technical inputs and recommendations to proposed and existing legislation, national development policies, and other papers/proposals on residential care and center-based services;
7. Advises and provides technical assistance to Field Offices and other stakeholders and interprets objectives, policies, procedures, rules and regulations, standards and requirements, and guidelines on residential care and center-based services;
8. Organize, facilitate, and/or act as a resource person on workshops/training relative to center-based programs;
9. Review and evaluate the status of program implementation;
10. Provide inputs to policy documents, guidance, and reports;
11. Establish partnerships with government and non-government agencies to strengthen advocacy on center-based programs;
12. Act as an alternate member of the PMB-Personnel Selection Committee representing CDD;
13. Acts on the special case referred by the EXECOM and for appropriate technical assistance in case management;
14. Prepares and monitors the compliance of the Division to PGS and OPC of the Bureau;
15. Performs other functions as may be defined, assigned, or delegated by the Assistant Bureau Director or Bureau Director in relation to the implementation of the center-based program.
Job Outputs:
1. Technical Assistance to the CDD technical staff, CRCFs and FOs
2. Review and provide Inputs and comments on the confirmation reports on Technical Assistance provided to the CRCFs & FOs
3. Coordinates the implementation of national or central office-initiated SWD programs and projects assigned to the Division with concerned FOs and partners

9. Performance Rating in the last rating period or its equivalent, as may be applicable (For those applicants from the public sector vying for promotion, a performance rating is required).
