Experience

At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience particularly on social development, plan formulation/development, policy formulation/development, monitoring and evaluation, project management, coordination and networking, and/or regional and international cooperation. Should have excellent communications skills, both in speaking and writing

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Division Chief, facilitates and assists in the development of the Strategic Plan, Social Protection Plan and Sectoral Action Plans; monitors and evaluates DSWD Offices, Bureaus and Services (OBS) and National Program Management Offices (NPMOs) as to physical and financial performance; provides technical assistance and assists the Division Chief; and performs other related work.

2. Strategy Development

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Assists the Division Chief in the day-to-day operations of the Division;

2. Facilitates and assists in the development of the Agency’s Strategic Plans, Social Protection Plan, and Sectoral Action Plans;

3. Prepares Progress/Project Monitoring Reports/Accomplishment Reports both for the oversight agencies and internal use;

4. Collaborates and coordinates the Agency’s Strategic Plan, and Sectoral Action Plans;

5. Monitors the implementation of Strategic Plans, and Sectoral Action Plans;

6. Monitors, reviews, and prepares the Agency Budget Proposal, Annual Agency Performance Annual Public Investment Program (PIP) and Three-Year Rolling Infrastructure Programs (TRIP) of the Department, ensuring alignment with the Department’s Strategic Plan and Thrust and Priorities;

7. Provides Technical Assistance to the Department’s Offices, Bureaus, Services, Units, and Field Offices on matters concerning Agency Strategic Plan, Sectoral Plan, Planning and Budgeting among others;

8. Attends to internal and external meetings, trainings/workshops/conferences as assigned and authorized;

9. Provides technical secretariat support to committees as may be assigned and authorized such as the GAD Focal Point System, Sub-Committee on Social Protection;

10. Coordinates and supervises the division’s activities, plan formulation, plan implementation, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation for the effective delivery of outputs;

11. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned and authorized.
