JOB DESCRIPTION 

Acts as Division Chief. Reviews reports of SCMD staff on the assessment to client Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs), Service Providers (SPs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and other regulated entities. Facilities the overall performance of the SCMD.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Supervises, monitors and evaluates the performance of SCMD staff on assessment to SWDAs, SPs, CSOs and other regulated entities;

2. Exercises the management functions of planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling;

3. Provides Technical assistance to FOs, SWDAs, SPs, CSOs and other regulated entities in compliance to set standards along regulatory services;

4. Identifies gaps in the implementation of policies, rules, regulations on SBs regulatory services;

5. Recommends and provides inputs in the drafting of policies/guidelines/tools along regulatory services;

6. Acts as resource person on topics and issues affecting the regulatory services;

7. Reviews, analysis and provide inputs on technical assistance on reports/communications submitted by the SCMD staff;

8. Reviews and provide inputs on technical reports, work and financial plan, activity/project proposal and other budgetary concerns;

9. Executes and implements policy standards, regulations and work plans established by the office

10. Ensures that the office adheres to the Department’s performance management systems and processes;

11. Reviews and endorses assessment of SWDAs for Registration, Licensing and Accreditation including CSOs and endorsement of Duty-Exempt Importation and Public Solicitation;

12.  Undertakes review and evaluation of OBS/Cluster WFP and MDP; and

13.   Performs other related task as may be assigned.

2. Certificates of Registration/Licensing/Accreditation/Authority to conduct National Fund Raising Campaign/Endorsement of Certification for DEI

3.  Monitored and handled division’s targets and accomplishments;

4. Undertakes projects that may be assigned by the cluster/management;and

5.  Does other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time

7. Copy of Special Order or Certification indicating the supervisory/management experience/functions signed by the HRMO or any authorized representative (for Division Chief positions only/if applicable)

8. Valid NBI/Police Clearance or proof of payment i.e. official receipt of the NBI/Police clearance;

9. Authenticated or photocopy of Civil Service Eligibility and/or Valid PRC ID/Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID/proof of payment or schedule of appointment for the PRC/IBP renewal license; and

10. Performance Rating in the last rating period or its equivalent, as may be applicable (For those applicants from the public sector vying for promotion, a performance rating is required).
