JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the general supervision of the Division Chief (DC)/Section Head, the Training Specialist II (TS II) will serve as technical support to LDIs and as the focal person of the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) program. The TS II will also perform admin/technical work relative to the development, design, implementation, and documentation of LDIs; database management; and other related tasks as may be assigned.
Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for performing overall capacity building roles and functions;
2. Undertakes the conceptualization of capability building programs including course designs, curriculum development, research, and assessment of the competency requirement;
3. Coordinates the capability building programs and projects of the Academy;
4. Prepares and enhances training proposal/training design;
5. Manages/facilitates pre, actual, post-conduct of capability building activities;
6. Collaborates with internal and external LSPs to ensure engagement in CBAs;
7. Coordinate course designers (internal and external) in the development of course designs, programs;
8. Conducts training evaluation and prepares necessary reports;
9. Develops and enhances training modules;
10. Evaluates effectiveness of learning resources, knowledge products, and other resources for LDIs; and
11. Performs other tasks as may be required by the Division Chief/Section Head.
