Top Skills' Details 3+ years Pole Permitting Experience is critical 3+ years OSP Experience 2+ years Project Management Experience Description Team manages permit for applying to get onto poles; specifically the pole attachments no municipal or railroad crossing, highway crossings, etc working directly with pole owners and stakeholders, finance dept, legal dept, Ideally someone with previous OSP permitting experience Project management experience nice to have This role is almost a project management role, dealing with pre-construction stakeholders to get the ball rolling, getting scope and design, have reviews, working with external business partners for site walks, pole profile and package up and submit to c OSP design experience would be a good fit ability to read fiber design This position is responsible for tracking all pending permits through the review process while effectively communicating the status of each permit. - Experience with construction permitting is preferred - Exposure to CATV design and installation processes is preferred - Excellent customer service skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills Primary Responsibilities: - Submit permit packages via online systems fax or in person if necessary including permit tracking and correlation - Pick up completed permit packages - Communicate with jurisdictional employees to understand any changes in permitting requirements - Track jurisdiction specific requirements and provide that information to the team - Work with local jurisdictions to move toward ideal permitting conditions - Posting permit submittals and approved permits and managing the permitting module in JT or Polaris job docs - All financial and reporting aspects to permitting - Responsible for building permit relationships and to act as the liaison between client with all permitting authorities - Tracking and reporting on aerial inspection and restoration completion - Support to the scheduler including filling in when needed - Responsible for any traffic control and the associated tasks follow up and relationships required - It is expected that this role is in the field 40 of their time Skills permit application, permitting, construction, telecommunication, site development, gis, project management Additional Skills & Qualifications GIS 4 Days on site M-Thurs Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
