Job Responsibilities:

The Permit Specialist is responsible for obtaining all alarm/electrical permits for customers in required areas.  Ensuring inspections are completed when necessary.  Researching city requirements to ensure company is compliant with all permit-related ordinances.   Perform regular audits and analysis and maintain accurate compliance records.  Answer incoming phone calls or emails from various local government officials, Vivint customers and members of other teams within the company. 

 

What we’re looking for: 

This job involves regular and recurring work situations of a low to moderate level of complexity.  The individual in this position must have excellent people skills with a high level of patience in dealing with all people they come in contact.   This position operates from general guidelines and directions; the individual will receive a minimal level of supervision.  This job is completely executed on a computer, using almost exclusively Excel. Familiarity and expertise with both is required. 

 

Education: 

Some college preferred but not required.  Smart Home or Solar compliance experience preferred but not required
